Experience the pristine, spring-fed waters of the 310-acre Bear Lake, one of Florida's cleanest lakes, at this spacious lake-front home.
Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities like canoeing, paddle-boarding, water-skiing, and fishing as well as backyard camping, suntanning, and barbecuing.
Fast or slow, your vacation, at your pace.
Our home is accessible by car or by sea plane, if you'd rather!
Once you arrive, you will be treated to a beautiful and comfortable modern home with everything you need for an exciting or a relaxing vacation.
We have a canoe and paddle boards available free for use (at your own risk).
For the more adventurous, if you'd like to water-ski, inner-tube, or just spend the day on the water.
You can enjoy the best views of the sunset (and the sunrise) from the swing on the boat dock or from the hammock and lounge chairs in the screen enclosure.
The professional BBQ on the patio can handle even the biggest of grill-outs while you enjoy music from the built-in ceiling speakers or the portable water-proof stereo for tunes by the lake.
The guest portion of the duplex is separated from the owner's suite by a solid, sound-proofed wall, and each space has its own private entrance.
The first floor of the guest area includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room with a comfy couch and large TV, a master suite (with king-size bed and its own bathroom) and an additional half-bath off the living room. The kitchen also contains an expandable dining table that can seat up to 10 as well as a bar overlooking the water with bar-stools for additional seating.
Just outside the glass doors from the kitchen, there is a HUGE screened-in deck with an additional outdoor dining area that can seat 8 or more (additional folding chairs are available, upon request). This deck, on the back of the house, overlooks the lake and connects to a raised walkway that leads to the water's edge and boat dock.
The second floor offers two bedrooms with queen size beds and a second master suite (with another king size bed and private bathroom). The third bathroom and laundry facilities are off the hall on the second floor, as well as a second loft living room with TV and two couches that convert into double-beds, if needed.
The second floor balcony runs the entire length of the house and is screened-in to allow for bug-free relaxation on the lounge chairs or at the dining tables - perfect for family game-nights.
We live on-property (in the owner's portion of the duplex), so we are available at any time if there is an emergency or if there are any questions or concerns that need immediate addressing.
We will be happy to provide recommendations and tips about the area, if asked, but we like to give our guests plenty of time for uninterrupted relaxation or exploration.

Summary: We decided to pick this amazing home for our weekend to the Cheezit Bowl. This home is nestled in a quiet area that is not so busy with all the space you need, convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, etc... BONUS note---the beds were very comfortable. We were 20 minutes from camping world stadium. The outside area and lake view are beautiful. We had teenagers to entertain and that was not a problem at all. We used a kayak and paddle board provided. Fished off the dock. Our host made sure we were accommodated to perfection. I will definitely go back to this home just for the fun of it and stay on the lake. I highly recommend this property for your next trip to the Orlando area. You will not be disappointed. Last... The sunset is picturesque. One made for a fancy magazine.

Summary: We couldn’t have found a better place for my MIL’s 80th birthday! With family coming from all over the US, Ofir’s home was spacious enough for 12 to sleep and approximately 30 guests the day of the party. There are very few step on the main level of the home, making it safe and comfortable for older guests. Even the decking to the dock is ramped vs stairs. The home is bright, spacious, sparkling clean and well stocked. Ample street parking is close by if you exceed the 5 parking spaces on site. Everyone has a wonderful time and really enjoyed the property. We highly recommend Ofir’s home and hope it is available for the next big family birthday!

Summary: Our family from Colorado stayed at this perfect home for 4+ weeks as we rejuvenated for the New Year. We felt very blessed to have found this remarkable home and location. The home is super clean (I am really picky about cleanliness when I’m renting), very stylish and has ample spaces to live in and enjoy. We paddle boarded, read, exercised in the neighborhood, did yoga workouts on the dock and both decks, cooked meals in the kitchen, visited downtown Orlando and the amusement parks frequently and read/relaxed A LOT. We found Altamonte Springs nearby with everything we needed for dining, shopping and a very cool lake walk that hosts concerts. We visited Ormond Beach several times. The beach is an hour easy drive away and was not crowded. Our hosts during our stay were the perfect balance between being really helpful when needed, but otherwise we never even noticed they were there. A very memorable experience that we would highly recommend!

Summary: We had the most amazing stay at Ofir's beautiful lakeside oasis. Everyone had a gorgeous lakeside view, their own bathroom, the house was stocked with everything we needed. It far exceeded our expectations, the pictures simply do not do it justice! Morning coffee by the lake on the gorgeous dock, nature all around. We booked 6 nights and had to extend 4 more, we simply did not want to leave! Highly recommend, Ofir could not have been more accomodating and he anticipated every need we could have. We are missing it already and cannot wait to come back!
